The Pascual Family founded the winery in 1986 and has moved forward since then. They took the lead in producing quality wines, in a region where wine had been produced for centuries. The year 2000 saw the opening of the new winery, with an octagonal layout. It was sited next to another, ancient wine cellar, which dated back to the 14th century. Four corridors were hollowed out of the rock to a depth of 16 metres and down there the temperature remains constant at 11˚C. This creates a perfect atmosphere for producing and ageing the wines.
The winery is located in the village of Fuentelcésped, in the south of the province of Burgos and on the banks of the River Duero, providing a truly remarkable situation for the production of the most exceptional wines. |
